Week 11 - still traveling!

Another video of this cute boy!  This one is of him swinging and smiling.  He's wearing his new wearable blanket (think snuggie, with no arms!)  It keeps him warm without letting him wrap himself up in his blanket.  I'm glad I found something that's allowed in order to keep him warm!

We went to visit Daddy at the EMS station one evening - they were both so happy to see each other after having been apart all day!

While in Temple for Cory's interview, we met up with my former boss and our family friends.  JJ and Jamie, and their daughter Marie, met us in Georgetown for some dinner and hot chocolate.

For Brian's weekly picture this week, he's wearing one of my favorite outifts - the brown and blue overalls.  And he's sitting in his arm chair (thanks again Aunt Julie!).  And it occurred to me that I had taken this exact same picture before.  Check out this comparison!  The top picture is from his week three pictures, and this one is from today.  What a growing boy!

Catching up ... week 10

Here are the pictures we have from week 10.  I'll share the story of the trip later (after I take a nap) but I'm sure there are some of you going through withdrawals at the lack of Brian pictures these last two weeks.  Our boy is growing!

Back Home

We are back in Lake Jackson, and oh so glad to be back at our house.  Brian missed his swing, rocking chair, bouncy seat, space play mat, and lots of other things (and so did we!). 

I start back to work tomorrow (wow it's going to be an early morning!) so this weeks pictures will be delayed a bit.  But here's one that I found while putting pictures on a thumb drive for work tomorrow.  This was taken later in the day after he was born - was he really that little only 10 weeks ago!

Thanks for the prayers.  We had a wonderful trip, and Cory had a good interview with the school.  Next up, Texas A&M in Temple this Thursday!

Adventure!

We're getting ready to embark on an adventure.  We're taking Brian on a plane ride!  El Paso, here we come. 

I've been trying to pack for this 4 day trip, and I can't believe how much stuff it takes to pack a 9 week old for a trip like this.  I hope I remember everything!  And I hope there's a CVS near the hotel for the things I forget.  And I hope (and pray!) that we have a good teething day tomorrow and on Sunday when we're flying.

Keep us in your prayers while we're traveling.  We'll need the support.  And pray for Cory and his interview - that he'll show them the amazing man we all know.

Week 9 found us entering Brian's first December.  We put up the Christmas tree, and added Brian's "First Christmas" ornament to our eclectic (or should I say nerdy) collection of ornaments.

Two months old!

So Brian hit two months old this Saturday, but we got so busy I didn't get a family picture posted.  So here is a picture of Cory and I with Brian from this weekend.  He's such a wonderful baby and we love him so much!
