Week 30 - crawling! pulling up! eating yogurt! good week :)

<<<Edit: Don't miss the videos I posted - you'll have to look at the next page since I put so much in this post!>>>

This was a fun week.  Lots of firsts.  This week he crawled productively, forward.  He's now definitely mobile!  He also really pulled up by himself this week (and really wants to stand up even when there's nothing to pull on) so I'm sure he'll be standing and walking soon.  He already likes to try to walk when we hold his hands.  He actually marches, with high knees for most of his steps.  He discovered laundry baskets to play in, and emptying out his toy box. We also let him try Cherry Berry vanilla yogurt this week, which he loved!  And he discovered sitting up in his crib.  The first time he did that was just weird - I walked in to get him and he was sitting there looking at me.  Weird!  And then the next time he was sitting up trying to use the mobile to pull himself up on (and of course it was clicking like crazy because he wasn't letting it turn).  So, no more mobile!

Enjoy the pictures...

Bananas - a new favorite.  Tied with sweet potatoes for his favorite.

Our bare-chested baby Brian, showing off his baby blues!  (This was after a dip in the pool, hence the really wet diaper ...)

Laundry baskets - oh goody!

And big red bottles!

Cereal - quite a mess, but he seems to like it.
And Peas ... look Gram, my face matches my bib!

Cherry Berry - for the first time!

Chewing on the arm of Gram's rocking chair

Miscellaneous smiley pictures

Here is his discovery of the mobile - and the last time it was in the crib!

Laundry.  Yes, Brian, this is what goes in that laundry basket that you like so much.  Not quite as much fun, but ...

This (admittedly long) set of pictures were taken by Cory.  He got some fun pictures of Brian and I together.  I love the ones where he's pinching my cheeks, and hugging on me.  Such a sweet boy!

Sippy cup.  And the crazy foot that always works its way into everything!

Sitting in his bouncy chair.  No really, sitting up in his bouncy chair.  It's not a recliner any more ...  Thankfully there is a seatbelt!

Look how big he is now.  His legs actually bend and reach the foot rest in this stroller now!

Ah, the swing!  We're going to have lots of good days in the swing, I think.

And here he is emptying out the toy basket!

Meeting a new friend.  Our friends Juan and Raquel were at the station and their daughter Jessica brought her daughter Khloee over while we were there.  She is 10 and a half months old.  Brian is bigger.  :)

And a cute shot of Brian and Papa Chuck hanging out one afternoon.
