And yet, it seems like he's been in our lives forever. How can that be?
Well, however that works I'm thankful for it. We are blessed with a wonderful, happy, healthy baby boy. And we're both settling in to being parents.
Today I finally started putting away some of the newborn-sized clothes we have. Brian hasn't outgrown them in weight or width, but he's certainly too long for them. He can't stretch his feet all the way out (and that's one of his favorite things to do) so they're being put aside for our next little 'Mussen. And now he's wearing 3 month-sized clothes. Happens so fast! We'll be going to the doctor on Friday and will get new measurements to see how tall he's getting!
Here are some of the pictures we got during week three.
Hanging out in his chair - thanks to cool aunt Julie for the chair!
Hangin' with Dad
Diaper duty - proof that my wonderful husband helps with diapers!
Feet! Need I say more?
Hello! The original frog puppet that started the froggy theme - sneaking up on a sleeping Brian.
Helping Dad study!
So nonchalant.
Smiling at Daddy! They were having fun - though I can't remember what they were talking about.
Later, snuggled up in the rocker.
And snuggled up with Mama. He's in a snuggly mood!
Flying Ace, all stretched out!
Stretching out his legs - all these little outfits don't fit any more! He is just too long now.
The Waldo hat! This is a homemade gift from my friend Katie, and it's so cute. Brian wasn't so sure - but it was a little warm for it. It's a little big, but it'll be awesome for Christmas time when it cools off. (It cools off here?) Thanks Katie!!
Fritz is very protective of Brian (as is Bella).
Sleeping with Mom. I love it when he snuggles up this way!
